Glasses get renewed every two years. As long as the client thinks of you that day.

A frame catalog with photos and prices, eye exam appointments, a deposit when the lenses are ordered, a notification when the glasses are ready. And two years later, your message is the first to arrive.

You know these struggles

The renewal that goes to the competitor

Your client bought their glasses from you two years ago. Their vision has shifted, their frame is worn, they're ripe for a renewal. But the shop they walk past tomorrow will win the sale, because you have no way to reach them at the right moment.

"Are my glasses ready?" three times per client

Between the lens order and delivery, every client calls or drops by to check. Multiplied by all the open orders, that's constant interruption, and annoyed clients when the answer is still no.

Frames nobody ever sees

You carry 200 frames in the window and drawers, but the client only tries five, the ones they see walking in. Your most stylish stock sleeps, and the client leaves convinced you didn't have "their style".

Unpaid lens orders

You order progressive lenses from the lab, the client was supposed to come back to pay and collect. Three weeks later, they've gone silent, and you've fronted 60,000 FCFA of lenses cut to their prescription, unsellable to anyone else.

What Fiitsa changes for you

A frame catalog browsable before coming in

Gestion de produits et stock

Men's, women's, kids' and sun frames: photos, brands and prices inside WhatsApp. The client shortlists three models from home and comes in to try them. They walk into your shop already half convinced, and finally discover the frames your window could never show.

Eye exam appointments without a call

Services et réservations

Vision check, contact lens fitting, frame adjustment: the client picks their slot in WhatsApp and gets a day-before reminder with what to bring, their old glasses and their prescription if they have one. Your exam schedule fills up without a single ring.

Deposit on order, notification when it's ready

Paiements WhatsApp

The lens order goes to the lab after a deposit via Orange Money, MTN MoMo or Wave. As soon as the glasses are assembled, the client receives: "Your glasses are ready, come pick them up". No more sunk advances, no more calls asking about the status.

A renewal reminder 18 to 24 months after purchase

Automatisation

"It's been almost two years since your last glasses. Time for a quick vision check?". The message goes out automatically, with a booking button. You trigger the renewal, instead of leaving it to whichever shop window comes along.

Frequently asked questions

Can a client send me their prescription on WhatsApp?

Yes, as a photo in the chat, and it's actually very handy for preparing a lens quote before their visit. Exchanges go through the official WhatsApp Business API, end-to-end encrypted, and only your team can access them. Their prescription stays between them and you, as if it were sitting on your counter.

You don't pick glasses without trying them on. What's the catalog for?

To get the client through the door. Nobody buys a frame from a photo, but everybody shortlists from photos. The client who spotted three models in your catalog comes in to try them, and rarely tries only those. The catalog doesn't replace the fitting: it fills your shop with clients who are already interested.

How does the renewal reminder work?

Every sale creates a client record with its purchase date. You choose the delay, say 18 or 24 months, and the message goes out on its own at the right time, with a button to book a check-up. You can also set shorter reminders for contact lens wearers. A 300-client file means 150 potential renewals a year: they might as well come back to you.

Will my clients accept a deposit when ordering lenses?

Yes, because it's already standard practice at most opticians: lenses cut to a specific prescription can't be resold. The difference is that payment happens via Mobile Money in the chat, tracked and confirmed, instead of a verbal promise. A serious client sees no problem; the one who refuses would probably have left you stuck with the lenses.

I also do repairs and adjustments. Does that fit in?

Yes. Repairs are a booking reason like any other: the client describes the problem, sends a photo of the damage, and the assistant gives a price range and a drop-off slot. Small services are also your best entry point: whoever comes in to fix a nose pad today buys their next pair from you tomorrow.
