Meal delivery / dark kitchen
Delivery apps take 25% of every meal. Take your customers back.
Your dark kitchen runs on WhatsApp: customers order, pay via Wave or MTN MoMo, track their delivery, and their number stays in YOUR list. At the end of the month, the apps' margin sleeps in your pocket.

You know these struggles
The commission eating your margin
A dish sold for 4,000 FCFA on a delivery app means 1,000 FCFA gone in commission. At 30 orders a day, you're gifting 900,000 FCFA a month to a platform that cooks nothing.
Customers who aren't yours
The customer who orders your thiéboudienne every week through the app? You don't know their name or number. The day the platform changes its algorithm or doubles its commission, your customer base vanishes with it.
"Where's my food?" every five minutes
Between the kitchen and a courier stuck in traffic, you spend the whole service reassuring hungry customers on the phone. Every call pulls you out of the kitchen at the worst moment.
Cash on delivery gone wrong
The courier arrives, the customer stops answering, or "doesn't have change". The meal makes the return trip, cold and unsellable, and you still pay the courier's fee.
What Fiitsa changes for you
Paid before the meal leaves
Paiements WhatsApp →Order paid via Wave, Orange Money or MTN MoMo before cooking starts. The courier no longer carries cash, customers no longer vanish, and every meal that leaves goes to someone who paid for it.
Order tracking that empties your voicemail
Automatisation →Order received, cooking, on its way, delivered: the customer gets every step on WhatsApp automatically. The "where's my food?" calls disappear, and you stay behind your pots.
A customer list that's finally yours
CRM →Every order enriches your base: name, neighborhood, favorite dishes, frequency. The Thursday regular who hasn't ordered in two weeks? You spot him, and you can win him back with his favorite dish.
The lunch menu sent at 10:45am
Campagnes WhatsApp →Your daily menu goes out as a WhatsApp campaign right before the midday hunger: photos, prices, order button. Nearby offices order together before 11:30am, and your lunch production is locked in ahead of time.
AI takes orders at peak hours
Assistants IA WhatsApp →Twenty conversations at 12:15pm is unmanageable for a human who's also cooking. The AI assistant shows the menu, takes addresses, checks the delivery zone and collects payment. You only see tickets ready to cook.
Your customer's journey, for real
- 1
11:50am, an open-plan office downtown. Your kitchen's message lands in Serge's WhatsApp: today's menu, thiéboudienne at 3,500 FCFA, poulet DG at 4,500 FCFA.
- 2
Serge does a quick office round: three thiéboudiennes, one poulet DG, two ginger juices. He orders it all at once and gives the office address.
- 3
Total 16,000 FCFA, delivery fee included, paid via Wave. Everyone pays Serge back via MoMo, as usual. In the kitchen, the ticket drops: order #23, downtown, paid.
- 4
12:20pm: "Your order is on its way". 12:40pm, the courier calls from downstairs, Serge goes down to grab the bags. Nobody had to reassure anybody.
- 5
Next day, 11:50am, the menu lands again. It's become the office ritual: no one wonders where to order anymore, they just wait for your message.
Frequently asked questions
What's the real difference with delivery apps?
Three things: 0% commission versus 15 to 30% on the apps, a customer list you own instead of the platform keeping it, and a direct WhatsApp line to every customer. Apps sometimes bring you new customers; Fiitsa lets you keep them for yourself.
How do I manage delivery zones and fees?
You define your zones and each one's fee: 500 FCFA nearby, 1,000 FCFA for neighboring districts, out-of-zone declined automatically. The customer picks their zone at checkout and the fee is added to the total before payment. No surprises at delivery.
I work with my own couriers. How do they fit in?
Each order comes out with the address, the customer's number and its paid status. You hand it to the courier, mark it "on the way", and the customer is notified automatically. The courier handles no cash: everything is already collected via Mobile Money.
How do I survive the lunch spike without melting down?
First, the menu sent at 10:45am spreads orders out before the rush. Then the AI assistant takes orders in parallel, twenty conversations at once if needed. Finally, you can close orders once the day's capacity is reached: better to decline than deliver late.
What if a customer still wants to pay on delivery?
Your call: you can allow it for trusted regulars and require prepayment from new customers. Most kitchens switch everything to prepaid after a few weeks: zero returned meals, zero cash lost along the way.
I'm starting out, my dark kitchen is just my home kitchen. Is this for me?
It's actually the ideal case: no storefront to pay off, everything runs through WhatsApp. You start with a short menu, your contact list and a link to share in neighborhood groups. Many home kitchens get their first few hundred orders exactly this way.
